LMP Motorsports would like to thank Norma Auto Concept, Kelly Moss Road and Race and Colin Thompson. This past weeks appearance at the IMSA prototype challenge proved once again why Kelly Moss Road and Race dominate this segment of racing. When Jeff Stone and Colin Thompson viewed and tested the first in the world Norma M 30 LMP 3 in Europe Just Days before the IMSA event, it was clear to all that this was a special car. Given the advanced P 2 type Quality and Aerodynamics they decided to take a risk and run with the Norma versus all the other brands. And the risk payed off. Colin Thompson once again proved his champion driving skills by leading the LMP 3 pack in the first 3 days of test in all sessions scoring the fastest lap time and speed, see the results at results.imsa.com In the last 2 sessions professional driver Dean Camaron drove the Ligier P3 factory car and managed the second quickest time but still 1 second off the pace of the Norma.
For the IMSA race weekend, finally Colin Thompson received some competition.
Late entry and paid professional Indy Lights driver Nicolas Jamin in the Ligier factory car managed to get in the pace with the Norma and beat all of the other Ligier P 3 customers that purchased cars from the factory. Sam Tawfik and Davy Lemmons of Lmpmotorsports.com, the Exclusive dealer for the Norma LMP 3 in the U.S, Canada and Mexico want to thank Colin Thompson and Jeff Stone for the excellence in their performance and professionalism. LMP Motorsports will have a full service parts department at the next and future IMSA events as well as providing the Norma M 30 LMP 3 for this and future seasons. LMP Motorsports as a factory dealer will NOT race against our customers as demonstrated by others stated Davy Lemmons. Drivers please order your cars now for early delivery by contacting Jeff Stone at Kelly Moss Road and Race who has immediate availability or Lmpmotorsports.com to get in the production schedule.
